Based on an examination of four novels written by a French physician writer, first published in 1989, and on an exclusive inter- view with the author, this paper addresses the ways throug which a caregiver's professional expe- rience feeds his fictions and how they, in turn, carry the author's views of healthcare ethics.R¨¦SUM¨¦Les m¨¦decins qui ¨¦crivent sont nombreux ¨¤ travers le monde, mais les relations entre exp¨¦rience professionnelle des soignants et ¨¦criture de fiction sont plus largement ¨¦tudi¨¦s et reconnus dans le monde litt¨¦raire et m¨¦dical anglophone que dans l'espace francophone. %K ethics %K medical ethics %K narrative %U http://www.creum.umontreal.ca/IMG/pdf_07_Zaffran.pdf
