%0 Journal Article %T MOVEMENT POPULATION IN THE SECOND OF XX AND BEGINNING OF XXI CENTURY: THE CASE NORTHEASTERN MONTENEGRO %A Goran Rajovic %A Jelisavka Bulatovic %J Russian Journal of Agricultural and Socio-Economic Sciences %D 2013 %I Russian Journal of Agricultural and Socio-Economic Sciences %X This paper analyzes population trends northeast of Montenegro in the second half of the twentieth and early twenty-first century. The population has increased in the period 1948-2003 to 2.16%, but with a tendency to decline from 1981. The population in are period 1981-2003, decreased by 14,674, or 21.16%. Parameters of natural population indicate a negative trend. So the natural increase in 2003 in the municipality was Andrijevica - 4.6%o, in the municipality of Plav 4.21%o, and Berane 9.29%o, significantly lower than in the beginning of the seventies. Population migration indicates uneven density and population concentration.
