%X Narender Mehta (b. 1965 at Gurgaon, Haryana) is a prolific artist, curator and teacher who loves to create serene works with the help of unusual colours, lines and shadows which, combined together, impress viewers with a higher reality, sometimes transcendental, emerging from the canvas. It is evident from his works that the artist¡¯s inspiration is purely aesthetic and free from political bias. His fascination with Buddha clearly indicates his devotion to the search for Bodhi or Enlightenment through his art.
