%X Un ex-voto oculaire a ¨¦t¨¦ d¨¦couvert dans une fosse d¡¯un sanctuaire ¨¤ Pannes (Loiret), dans le territoire de la cit¨¦ des S¨¦nons, lors de fouilles pr¨¦ventives effectu¨¦es en 1996-1997, pr¨¦alablement ¨¤ la construction de l¡¯autoroute A.77. Mal connue, la r¨¦gion est riche en vestiges antiques, et ce sanctuaire, d¨¦di¨¦ ¨¤ une ou des divinit¨¦(s) non identifi¨¦e(s), ¨¦tait assez important pour attirer, entre autres, une citoyenne romaine d¡¯origine indig¨¨ne, Prisceia Aviola. Elle a offert un ex-voto oculaire de forme in¨¦dite jusqu¡¯ici, fabriqu¨¦ dans un mat¨¦riau exceptionnel, l¡¯argent, et ¨C fait rare ¨C y a fait graver une formule d¨¦dicatoire. La faible proportion des femmes, surtout citoyennes romaines, parmi les d¨¦vots, le choix du m¨¦tal original, la qualit¨¦ du support conf¨¨rent ¨¤ l¡¯objet une singularit¨¦ qui montre l¡¯attractivit¨¦ du sanctuaire o¨´ il a ¨¦t¨¦ d¨¦pos¨¦. An ocular ex-voto has been found inside a pit in a sanctuary situated at Pannes (Loiret), in the territory of the Senones¡¯ city, during excavations which took place in 1996-1997, before the A77 motorway construction. In spite of the fact that the archaeological assessment of the region is incomplete, numerous antique remains have been found; this sanctuary, whose deity (or deities) is/are unknown was important enough to attract, amongst others, a female Roman citizen of local origin, Prisceia Aviola. She offered an ocular ex-voto of a previously unseen shape, the material of which ¨C silver ¨C is exceptional, and which bears a dedicatory inscription, an uncommon characteristic. The small ratio of women, especially those who were Roman citizens amongst worshippers, the choice of an unusual metal and the quality of the artefact make this offering so special that it proves the attractiveness of the sanctuary where it was placed.
