%X The Spanish Pavilion in the New York World＊s Fair of 1939 was an approved project by the Spanish Republican Government, which was never opened due to the end of the Spanish Civil War. This study gathers unpublished information about the artists, the works, and the politicians in charge of these frustrated plans. This was one of the last institutional assignments of the Second Republic and a coll for help to the international community. El Pabell車n espa ol de la Exposici車n Internacional de Nueva York de 1939 fue un proyecto aprobado por el Gobierno de la II Rep迆blica y que, debido al desenlace de la Guerra Civil espa ola, nunca lleg車 a inaugurarse. En este art赤culo se recoge la documentaci車n in谷dita acerca de los artistas, las obras y los responsables pol赤ticos que se vieron involucrados en estos planes truncados, el 迆ltimo gran encargo institucional republicano y la llamada de socorro a la comunidad internacional.
