%X El presente art赤culo expone los resultados de una investigaci車n realizada en la ciudad de C車rdoba, Argentina, la cual se propuso, tomando como referencia el marco te車rico de la psicoling邦赤stica, analizar, en producciones escritas de adolescentes, la madurez sint芍ctica o capacidad para producir oraciones complejas desde el punto de vista estructural. Los objetivos concretos de la investigaci車n fueron calcular los 赤ndices de madurez sint芍ctica en j車venes insertos en el sistema educativo cordob谷s y establecer las posibles relaciones de estas mediciones con las variables modo de organizaci車n del discurso y sexo. Desde el punto de vista metodol車gico, la tarea se llev車 a cabo en el marco de un dise o de investigaci車n cuantitativo, desde el cual se abord車 el corpus conformado por las narraciones y argumentaciones redactadas por los adolescentes participantes. En cuanto a los resultados, la investigaci車n permiti車 corroborar que, en el universo considerado, no se podr赤an se alar relaciones significativas, en t谷rminos de diferencias, entre la variable sexo y la capacidad sint芍ctica. Por el contrario, en relaci車n con la variable modo de organizaci車n discursiva, las vinculaciones con la madurez sint芍ctica se manifiestan con mayor solidez. (This article exposes the results of a piece of research carried through in the city of Cordoba, Argentina. Taking the psycholinguistic theoretical framework as reference, this research work aims at analyzing, in teenagers＊ written productions, the syntactic maturity or the ability to produce complex sentences from the structural point of view. The specific goals of this research work were: to asses the indexes of syntactic maturity of teenagers immersed in the educational system of the city of Cordoba, and to establish the possible relations of these assessments with the discourse organization and gender variables. From the methodological point of view, this task was performed within the framework of a quantitative research design; the corpus conformed by the narrations and argumentations produced by the participating teenagers was approached from the same framework. Regarding the results, this research allowed to prove that, in the universe under consideration, it would not be possible to point out significant relations, in terms of differences, between the gender variable and the syntactic ability. On the contrary, regarding the variable discourse organization, the links to syntactic maturity were much more evident.)
