%X En el presente art赤culo el autor se propone mostrar la experiencia adquirida en la elaboraci車n y posterior aplicaci車n entre 1969 y 1971 de la encuesta l谷xica empleada en su investigaci車n sobre el habla culta de Santiago, cuyos resultados se publicaron en 1987. Con ello desea que el conocimiento de su experiencia facilite la labor de quienes tengan que realizar una investigaci車n semejante. (In this article, the author comments on the elaboration and application of alexical survey used in his research about educated speech in Santiago de Chile, during 1969 and 1971 and published in 1987. His purpose is to share his experience in order to orient the work and methodology of future investigations in the field.)
