%X Se utiliz車 una escala anal赤tica para medir la producci車n de un texto expositivo, escrito por estudiantes de octavo a o b芍sico. Con la participaci車n de tres jueces evaluadores, se aplica a la evaluaci車n de 204 composiciones, considerando situaci車n ret車rica (SR) y mec芍nica del lenguaje (ML). La SR incluye las r迆bricas T車pico (T), Audiencia (A) y Prop車sito (P), y la ML incluye puntuaci車n, ortograf赤a y nexos hipot芍cticos y parat芍cticos, cada una de estas r迆bricas divididas en diferentes 赤tems y estos en descriptores. Los resultados revelan que el puntaje promedio obtenido por los sujetos es de 27,6 de un total de 50. En general, el mejor logro se observ車 en las r迆bricas T y P, y el m芍s deficiente en A y ML. El 赤ndice de precisi車n del instrumento fue obtenido mediante el coeficiente de correlaci車n Spearman, el cual revela consistencia en el juicio de los evaluadores y un buen nivel de discriminaci車n. (An analytic scale was used to measure the production of an expository textwritten by eighth graders. Three observers (readers) applied this instrument to 204 compositions, considering rhetorical situation (RS) and mechanics of language (ML). The RS includes the rubrics topic (T), audience (A), and purpose (P); and the ML includes punctuation, spelling, and connectors. Each of these rubrics was divided into different items and descriptors. The findings reveal that the mean score is 27.6 out of a total of 50. In general, the highest achievements are observed in the rubrics topic and purpose, and the lowest achievement in audience and mechanics of language. Precision of the measurement instrument was obtained through the Spearman correlation coefficient, which reveals consistency among the observers and a high level of discrimination.)
