%X Este trabajo es parte de un proyecto de investigaci車n en el 芍rea de la sociopragm芍tica, que estudia las caracter赤sticas de los roles y la imagen de los participantes en la interacci車n verbal de Chile y Argentina. En este art赤culo se muestran los resultados de un estudio exploratorio acerca de la evaluaci車n de la forma en que los j車venes universitarios interact迆an. Para lograr el objetivo planteado se utilizaron fragmentos de conversaciones que integran el corpus del proyecto mencionado. Se solicit車 a un grupo de hablantes adultos que escucharan el material grabado y volcaran sus opiniones respecto de diferentes aspectos de las interacciones en un cuestionario "ad hoc". Sobre la base de las respuestas recogidas se dise 車 una tabla en la que dichas respuestas se organizan de acuerdo al 芍rea a que hacen referencia. La elaboraci車n de los resultados permiti車 comprobar que las evaluaciones negativas superan ampliamente en n迆mero a las positivas y que los aspectos m芍s cuestionados en los dos pa赤ses intervinientes son el contenido de los intercambios y la conducta interaccional de los participantes. ((This paper is part of a research project in the area of sociopragmatics, whose aim is to study the characteristics of the roles and 'face' of the participants projected in verbal encounters, both in Chile and Argentina. This article shows the results of an exploratory work on the evaluation of the way young university students interact. In the furtherance of this aim, fragments of conversations which form the corpus of the aforementioned project were utilized. A group of adult speakers were asked to listen to the recordings and to provide their opinion about the interactions in an ad hoc questionnaire. A table was designed on the basis of the responses obtained which organizesthe responses given according to the area they refer to. The results obtained showed that the negative evaluations outnumbered considerably the positive evaluations. It was also made evident that the most criticized aspects in both countries were related to the topic of the conversations and to the interactive behaviour of the participants.)
