The compact SNTP server/client system for home appliances like audio, video buzzer controls, etc., has been developed as an extension of an SNTP client application. The newly developed system can obtain the time from time detection sensors directly without upper layer NTP servers. For verification, the developed system operated on a real-time operating system, T-Kernel/Standard Extension, with a 32-bit RISC MPU, SH7727. A new type of embedded streaming media client is designed in this paper. It takes the ARM processor and embedded Linux operating system as platform, and develops an embedded streaming player which broadcasts in real time streaming on the ARM through the RTP/RTSP extensions and transplantation of the original Mplayer %K Simple network time protocol %K time synchronization %K T-Kernel/Standard Extension %K RTP/RTSP extensions %U http://www.ijcttjournal.org/volume-3/issue-1/IJCTT-V3I1P102.pdf
