%X Block Truncation Coding is an image compression technique which is used globally in many online as well as offline graphical applications e.g. LCD overdrive etc. In this literature survey we will discuss many variants of Block Truncation coding and latest metamorphosed techniques which are introduced recently. These techniques are analyzed behalf on objective and subjective point of view. In this literature survey, simulation results are also provided for each technique.
