This paper analyses some interestingproperties of PN sequence. This paper further elaborates aboutvarious methods of generation of PN sequences, few methodsdiscussed in this paper are: series-parallel method forhigh-speed generation, avoiding the zero states, shift registerswith feedback, chaotic pattern generation. A detailedcomparison of PN sequence and chaotic sequence is alsodescribed in this along with comparative analysis of LFSRs,Gold sequence, Barker sequence, Kasami sequence. %K Spread spectrum %K pseudo-noise %K Chaos %K LFSR %K Code division multiple access %K pseudo-noise codes %K Maximal length %K Gold %K Barker %K Kasami %K autocorrelation %K cross correlation. %U http://www.ijctee.org/files/Issuetwo/IJCTEE_0910_30.pdf
