%X This study in order to provide reflections about the family care needs as the health-illness process environment. The walk into this discussion took place from a cut on the art state guided by references designated in a strictu sensu selection process involving scientific articles and relevant books to the topic. The results pointed to the health-disease process under standing as a multiple factors result: biological, psychological, socio-cultural, ecological, environmental and spiritual, derived of the family life conditions and its bond relations. We concluded that the systemic thought constitutes a possibility to see this familial process through more integrative lenses that reach the health or disease determinant context of this complex system: the family.
