%X To understand the river basin, it is necessary to analyze all elements of the landscape in a transversalway, in time and space. The objective of this work was to analyze the basin of direct contribution of theLagoa Mirim by the types of the land use and its impacts in the wetlands of the basin. Using a GeographicInformation System, load polluting parameters were calculated by two models, the MQUAL and thePLOAD, identifying the most threatened areas by pollution. The analyzes revealed the necessity of ashared management of the basin.
