Driven by dreams of change and improvement in economic conditions and social status, Tuquinha Batista and Ataxerxes behave themselves quite differently towards the state capital and each one set various courses of action, which tells us about the social inclusion of suburbanites and peasants in modernized Brazilian regions. %U http://revistas.unincor.br/index.php/recorte/article/view/324
