%X The study of rationality in educational organisations, particularly schools, has decision making as an underlying problem. The denial of a monistic and absolute conception of rationality opens up the possibility of distinguishing among various forms of rationality. Such a possibility presupposes a multiple focused framework in the study of schools viewing both bureaucratic and anarchic models as a theoretical account that integrates differing sorts of power.
