%X Le pr¨¦sent article calcule les contraintes et d¨¦placements au pourtour d'un puits elliptique vertical for¨¦ dans un massif homog¨¨ne isotrope soumis ¨¤ un champ anisotrope de contraintes tectoniques. Des consid¨¦rations sur la rupture des roches permettent d'¨¦tudier l'ovalisation du puits. Ce calcul fournit enfin une grandeur utile au calcul de la vitesse de l'onde de Stoneley dans le puits. The aim of this article is to calculate stresses and displacements in the near vicinity of a vertical elliptical borehole drilled in an isotropic homogeneous formation subjected to an anisotropic field of tectonic stresses, Considerations about rock fracturing are used to analyze borehole breakout. These calculations lead to quantities which prove useful in computing Stoneley wave velocity in boreholes.
