Zigbee ad-hoc meshnetworks are designed to support a large number of nodes(>64,000) with dynamic routing in case of a node failure. Thispaper will simulate and explore the performance of ZibBeeWPANĄŻs under various conditions using OPNET. According tothe simulation results concluded that ZigBee protocol gives lessend to end delay. Traffic dropped in route while traveling todestination is also very less. It can be seen that steady stream oftraffic is sent without disruption. Due to this ZigBee is widelyused in wireless sensor networks applications such as patientmonitoring, automatic meter reading system, and mine securityapplication. %K End-End delay %K Throughput %K OPNET %K Zigbee %K QoS %U http://ijcsn.org/IJCSN-2013/2-1/IJCSN-2013-2-1-49.pdf
