Esses elementos, na medida emque suavizaram os efeitos perversos da d¨¦bil estrutura econ mica e da insustent¨¢vel formade reparti  o dos meios de produ  o, tamb¨¦m influenciam na migra  o. O objetivo desteartigo ¨¦ analisar a dinamica migrat¨®ria sergipana, principalmente os fluxos direcionados ¨¤regi o da grande Aracaju (RGA), ¨¤ luz de alguns aspectos pr¨®ximos ou influentes na migra  o.De forma mais espec¨ªfica, trata a migra  o interna em Sergipe, tendo como cen¨¢rios osavan os e os problemas regionais assentes no processo de desenvolvimento sergipano das¨²ltimas tr¨ºs d¨¦cadas. Ao analisar comparativamente a ocupa  o e a renda do trabalho segundostatus migrat¨®rio e escolaridade, mostra que esses diferenciais em favor da RGA continuamsendo os principais atrativos dos migrantes originados do interior sergipano.English Social indicators in the brazilian Northeast show that, even with the persistent social inequality,there was significant poverty reduction and improvements in education and labor marketstandards. The indicators also highlight the fact that behind these results, public employment,transfers from social programs and pensions are found. These elements mitigate the perverseeffects from a feeble economic structure and from an unsustainable distribution of productionmeans. Therefore, they also influence migration. The objective of this article is to analyze themigratory dynamic at the state of Sergipe, particularly the population flows directed tometropolitan Aracaju. Specifically, this article addresses the inner migration at Sergipe through the sceneries of regional advances and problems ¨C present in the state¡¯s development processfor the last three decades. The comparative analysis of occupation and labor income, accordingto migration status and level of study, informs that such elements still are the maindistinguishing characteristics of Aracaju, drawing migrant population from Sergipe¡¯s countryside.Espa ol Los indicadores sociales del Nordeste brasile o muestran que, a¨²n con la persistentedesigualdad social, hubo reducci¨®n significativa de la pobreza y mejor¨ªas en la educaci¨®n yen el mercado de trabajo.
