%X El art赤culo analiza la carga de trabajo aut車nomo del estudiante en algunas asignaturas de los estudios universitarios de las artes. Este aspecto constituye la faceta m芍s dificultosa y controvertida del sistema europeo de transferencia y acumulaci車n de cr谷ditos, y por consiguiente, la raz車n principal que recomienda la verificaci車n regular de su ajuste en las nuevas titulaciones. Tras pasar sucinta revista a la naturaleza del cr谷dito europeo y a la problem芍tica que afecta al c芍lculo de las horas de dicho trabajo aut車nomo, se propone un procedimiento de estimaci車n basado en las actividades realizadas por el alumno en el marco de dos modelos de carpeta de aprendizaje. La carga de trabajo total del estudiante en la asignatura ser赤a as赤 el producto de a adir, a la estimaci車n anterior, las horas dedicadas a los otros bloques recogidos inicialmente en el programa: el trabajo en el aula y las actividades de aprendizaje guiadas. This article analyses students' autonomous workload in some of the courses on university fine arts degrees. This is the most difficult, controversial facet of the European Credit Transfer System, and its adjustment in the new degree courses will require regular monitoring. After a brief description of the nature of the ECTS and the problems involved in calculated the hours of students' workload, the article proposes a procedure of estimation based on the activities performed as part of two learning portfolio models. The student's total workload on a course is calculated by adding together this estimation and the hours devoted to the other blocks initially included in the program: work in the lecture-room, and guided learning activities.
