%X El arte alcanza su m¨¢xima expresi¨®n con el p¨²blico. El cine es independiente del p¨²blico, pero no hay cine sin ¨¦l, pues como acto de comunicaci¨®n necesita la respuesta del espectador para completarse. Asimismo, para que el p¨²blico crea en la verdad de una creaci¨®n cinematogr¨¢fica, es necesario que ¨¦sta parezca real, que resulte veros¨ªmil. La construcci¨®n social de la credulidad aplicada en el mundo cinematogr¨¢fico, implica la necesidad de alcanzar ese pacto de ficci¨®n que le proporcione a la pel¨ªcula tal eficacia simb¨®lica, que haga de ella una realidad verdadera y diferente a la realidad externa al hecho f¨ªlmico. | Every artistic experience reaches its more complete expression through the public senses. The good cinema is independent of the public, but there¡¯s no cinema without that public, because as a comunication act it needs his answer to complete the creation. Also, it¡¯s necessary that the cinematographic creation seems credible in order that the public believes in the truth of the film. The social construction of the credulity inside the cinematographic world has this significance: the need to reach the fictional pact that gives to the film such a symbolic efficiency that makes this film a true and a different reality apart from the filmic fact.
