%X Twelve aryl acetic acid hydrazones were synthesized and tested first time for their antimicrobialactivity. The structures of all these compounds were confirmed with the help of IR, 1HNMR, Mass spectraalong with elemental analysis. Some of the target compounds show moderate activity against H37 RV strainof Mycobacterium tuberculosis at a concentration of 10¦ÌM.
