%X Health Visiting is targeting to health inequalities and quality of life in communities. Thus, HealthVisiting profession is linked with public health and health promotion interventions in the community.Health needs assessment is a methodology that reviews population health issues in order to produce aset of recommendations for action to improve health outcomes. The methodology of health needsassessment which is described in this paper is determined as a useful tool for the everyday practice ofHealth Visitors. The use of structured tools is also discussed which have lead to suggestions for futureresearch and Health Visitors¡¯ education.
