%X A partir de la sociolog¨ªa del texto, el presente art¨ªculo desarrolla la relaci¨®n entre escritura y modernidad, as¨ª como entre el autor moderno, como creador de lo nuevo, y los v¨ªnculos que establece con los procesos sociales del cambio modernizador. En estos procesos se desarrollan los trabajos cr¨ªticos que ven en el cambio efectos perversos y depredadores de lo colectivo y ruptura con la naturaleza. Este texto es tambi¨¦n un homenaje al libro de Marshall Berman Todo lo s¨®lido se disuelve en el aire (1982), a 30 a os de su aparici¨®n. Beginning with the sociology of the text, this article develops the relationship between writing and modernity, as well as between the modern author, as a creator of the new, and the relations that he or she establishes with the social processes of modernizing change. It is in these processes that the critical works which see the perverse and predatory effects of the collective and the break with nature develop. This paper is also a tribute to Marshall Berman's book All That is Solid Melts into Air (1982), on its 30 anniversary.
