%X O presente trabalho relata o caso cl¨ªnico de um c o da ra a American Pit Bull Terrier, de 7 anos deidade, pesando 27,3kg, atendido no Hospital Veterin¨¢rio da FAFRAM, apresentando ¨ºmese, dis¨²ria, disfagia,disquesia e dor abdominal. Ao exame f¨ªsico, observou-se escore corporal baixo, desidrata  o moderada, dor ¨¤palpa  o abdominal e abd men distendido. Os perfis hematol¨®gicos e bioqu¨ªmicos evidenciaram redu  o nosparametros da s¨¦rie vermelha. ¨¤ ultrassonografia, foi observada forma  o cranial ¨¤ pr¨®stata com conte¨²doanec¨®ico repleto de celularidade, medindo 14,6 x 9,67cm, sugestivo de cisto paraprostatico. O animal foisubmetido a celiotomia para preenchimento do espa o morto c¨ªstico com o omento como membrana biol¨®gica. ¨¤ultrassonografia constatou-se recidiva do quadro sendo o animal submetido ¨¤ nova cirurgia, realizando a t¨¦cnicade cauteriza  o do cisto seguida da omentaliza  o convencional. Ap¨®s 60 dias, ao exame ultrassonogr¨¢fico, n ofoi revelado altera  es e o animal encontra-se em bom estado.This paper reports a case of dog¡¯s breed American Pit Bull Terrier, 7 years gold, weighing27,3kg, Veterinary Hospital at the FAFRAM, with emesis, dysuria, dysphagia. On physical examination, therewas a body score low, moderate dehydration, abdominal pain on palpation and distended abdomen. Thehematological and biochemical parameters showed reduction in the red series. At ultrasonography, was observedtraining cranial to the prostate with anechoic contents full of cells, measuring 14.6 X 9.67 cm, suggestive of acyst paraprostatic. The animal was subjected to celiotomy for filling cystic space with omentum as biologicalmembrane. Ultrasonography was found recurrence of the picture with the animal underwent further surgery,performing the technique of cauterization of the cyst followed by conventional omentalization. After 60 days, theultrasound test, was not revealed changes and the animal is in good condition.
