%X : This study was conducted to analyze different periods of sowing and cultivation of sunflower seed for the region Ituverava-SP, related agro climatic elements and their influences. Daily data elements were collected climatological weather station at College ¡°Dr. Francisco Maeda¡± ¨C FAFRAM in the period 2001 to 2010. The precipitation was achieved by a Rain Gauge Ville de Paris and the maximum and minimum temperatures of the air with the use of Maximum and Minimum thermometers are installed inside a Weather Shelter. Based on the criteria used and studied in the climatic requirements of the sunflower crop, the region can be regarded as an area suitable for cultivation, based on average temperature and precipitation, and in November the best month for planting.O presente trabalho foi realizado com o objetivo de analisar diferentes per¨ªodos de semeadura e cultivo de girassol para a regi o de Ituverava-SP, relacionados com os elementos agroclim¨¢ticos e suas influ¨ºncias. Os dados di¨¢rios de elementos climatol¨®gicos foram coletados na esta  o agrometeorol¨®gica da Faculdade ¡°Dr. Francisco Maeda¡± ¨C FAFRAM, no per¨ªodo de 2001 a 2010. A precipita  o foi obtida atrav¨¦s de um Pluvi metro Ville de Paris e as temperaturas m¨¢ximas e m¨ªnimas do ar com o uso de Term metros de M¨¢xima e M¨ªnima, instalados dentro de um Abrigo Meteorol¨®gico. Com base nos crit¨¦rios utilizados e nas exig¨ºncias clim¨¢ticas estudados da cultura do girassol, a regi o pode ser considerada uma regi o apta ao cultivo, baseados nos valores m¨¦dios de temperatura e de precipita  o, sendo novembro o melhor m¨ºs para o plantio.
