%X De nouvelles m¨¦decines alternatives, regroup¨¦es sous l¡¯appellation   d¨¦codage biologique  , reposent sur une conception psychosomatique du cancer. Elles sont apparues en Europe dans les ann¨¦es 1990. Dans une perspective critique, l¡¯article tente de comprendre la diffusion de ces nouvelles th¨¦rapies. S¡¯inspirant du travail de D. Fassin sur les r¨¦seaux de l¡¯ethnopsychiatrie, il analyse la construction d¡¯une l¨¦gitimation du d¨¦codage biologique et de ses praticiens, en d¨¦crivant les r¨¦seaux qui diffusent les th¨¦ories et favorisent l¡¯adoption de la pratique. L¡¯article montre l¡¯enracinement de ces nouvelles th¨¦rapies dans des repr¨¦sentations sociales et des mod¨¨les culturels de l¡¯¨¦tiologie du cancer et du ¡°faire face¡± ¨¤ la maladie qui permettent ou renforcent l¡¯adoption et l¡¯appropriation de la pens¨¦e psychosomatique alternative. New alternative therapy called   bio-decoding   based on a psychosomatic perception of cancer appeared in the 1990s. Using a critical approach, the article aims to understand the therapy¡¯s growth. Drawing on D. Fassin¡¯s work about ethnopsychiatric networks, this paper analyses the construction of bio-decoding and bio-therapist legitimacy, by unravelling the networks which allow for theory dissemination and enable the practice¡¯s growth. The article shows that these new therapies are deeply rooted in social and cultural models of cancer etiology and coping, which allow or reinforce approval and appropriation of alternative psychosomatic thought.
