This may be attributed to the fact that current methodologies for analyzing supply chains are not sufficiently comprehensive, particularly when it comes to understanding the complexities of SCM and organization performance in an unified context. In addition, researchers have not comprehensively answered key questions such as what are the linkages between different dimensions of SCM and what are the linkages between the underlying dimensions of SCM and SCM performance. Gap also exists in terms of understanding of the relationship between SCM performance measures and organizational performance measures. The study seeks to address these issues. Based on a comprehensive literature review, a theoretical framework and propositions are derived. In culmination, the description for possible findings and implications of the study for managers is considered. Overall, we argue that increased interaction between important constituents of supply chain management will enhance the organization¡¯s ability to meet desired goals. Finally, directions for future research are also presented. %U http://www.ccsenet.org/journal/index.php/ijbm/article/view/14119
