%X The following article takes a close look at the significant approaches taken by which literature and anthropology towardmythology. It explores the nature of these disciplines' multiple perspectives, as well as their shared interest in the topos of origin and identity. Convergences and divergences are analyzed in the light of their respective mythographies of the Yurupary myth.
