%X This article shows up some points for a discussion about the philosophical nature of the urban space production process from the case of Recife, a town situated in a ¡®periphery¡¯ of the capitalist system. Under a context of unequal historical-geographical development in which there is a clear deadlock between the market interest and the human interest, always in favour of the first, we pointed, firstly, the aspects of ¡®market town logic¡¯ and ¡®human town logic¡¯. After that, and secondly, searching for making a balance between both logics, we encourage people to think about another urban space for everybody without dualism logical, making its possibility in question.
