%X Developing quality software is a challenge that requires professional to use techniques and methodologies appropriate, at the same time good software engineering practices. In the industry, the challenge is to hire experienced professionals, especially having to do with requirements management and tools to do it. To help overcome these problems, this article presents a way to select a management tool that incorporates best practices, in order to investigate the elements that ensure that is suitable for specific needs. To achieve this, was conducted a comparative study among the different tools available that have these elements. The results show that, until now, there is not a specific tool that contains all, therefore, has been determined that is essential to develop one that professional can use for developing quality software.
