%X The paper focused on the development of assessment and planning materials, the trailing of these by teachers in a school setting and their subsequent refinement based on the feedback received from the teaching and learning setting. The Final Evaluation Report of the Assessment in Junior Cycle Physical Education (NCCA, 2007) provides a more in- depth commentary of the project than is afforded here.
