%X Se realiz¨® un estudio descriptivo a 100 personas de 60 a os y m¨¢s, pertenecientes a la Parroquia Dalla Costa del municipio de Caron¨ª, en el Estado Bol¨ªvar, con el objetivo de valorar el comportamiento de la sexualidad en la tercera edad. Para ello se confeccion¨® una encuesta que respondiera a nuestros objetivos. La mayor¨ªa de los ancianos refieren que no tiene privacidad para las relaciones sexuales, result¨® notable como m¨¢s de la mitad de los ancianos refieren tener relaciones sexuales activas y la mayor¨ªa las consideran agradables y normales. En este tema a¨²n la informaci¨®n se consider¨® muy deficiente por lo que recomendamos hacer un mejor trabajo educativo con los ancianos sobre este aspecto tan importante para su calidad de vida. We developed a descriptive study in 100 60-years-old and more people, from the Parrish Dalla Costa, Municipality of Caron¨ª, Bolivar State, with the objective of evaluating sexual behavior in elder people. We prepared a questionnaire answering our objectives. Most of the elder people referred lack of privacy for sexual relations. It was notable that more than a half of the people referred having active sexual relations and that most of them consider these relations are pleasant and normal. In this theme the information was still considered deficient so we recommend developing a better educative work with elder people on this so important aspect for their life quality.
