%X Es reconocida la misi車n de la universidad m谷dica cubana y su responsabilidad en la formaci車n de los recursos humanos que requiere el Sistema Nacional de Salud para cumplir su encargo social. Es as赤 que se valora tambi谷n el papel rector de la sociedad en el 芍mbito educacional, a trav谷s de su interrelaci車n con otros sistemas, como son la escuela y la familia. De hecho, se fundamenta c車mo la educaci車n, vista como ciencia, no es ajena a la ideolog赤a y, por lo tanto, su objetivo supremo es la formaci車n de un individuo no solo con una s車lida preparaci車n cient赤fico-t谷cnica, sino con altos valores 谷ticos, pol赤ticos, ideol車gicos, morales y que se manifieste con un elevado compromiso para con la sociedad. Se exponen las necesidades de la labor educativa y pol赤tico-ideol車gica desde la instrucci車n, as赤 como de las diversas influencias educativas a que est芍n sometidos los estudiantes en los escenarios docentes de la Educaci車n M谷dica Superior en Cuba. Los autores del art赤culo argumentan el reto al que se enfrenta la universidad cubana de hoy, al extender sus procesos esenciales hacia los territorios en busca de hacer real una pol赤tica social acordes a estos tiempos; y especialmente cuando se argumenta la necesidad vital de preservar y elevar la calidad de estos procesos extendidos. Se hacen comentarios bien fundamentados, en cuanto a las influencias educativas ejercidas sobre los estudiantes por parte de los profesores a trav谷s del ejemplo personal de estos y se se alan las cualidades que deben reunir los mismos. Everybody recognizes the mission of the Cuban medical university and its responsibility in the formation of the human resources required by the National Health System to fulfill its social task. We also assess the directing role of the society in the educational settings, through the interrelation with other systems, like school and family. In fact, we explain how the education, as a science, is not ideology free, and therefore, its supreme objective is the formation of an individual not only with a solid scientific-technical preparation, but also with high ethic, politic, ideological and moral values, who behaves with a high compromise to the society. We expose the necessities of the educative and politico-ideological work from the instruction, and also the different educative influences the students are subject to in the teaching settings of the High Medical Education in Cuba.
