%X Joseph Jules Fran ois F谷lix Babinski, nacido el 17 de noviembre de 1857, fue uno de los relevantes neur車logos franceses que hicieron del Hospital de Salp那tri豕re, en Par赤s, un paradigma mundial de la neurociencia a finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX. A 谷l se deben importantes descubrimientos en ese campo, destacando su obra entre las m芍s prestigiosas de su tiempo. A迆n hoy d赤a sus aportes contin迆an siendo herramientas necesarias para la valoraci車n integral del paciente afecto de dolencias neurol車gicas. Se pretendi車 con esta investigaci車n destacar la vida y obra de tan ilustre cient赤fico. Joseph Jules Fran ois Felix Babinski , born on November 17, 1857, was one of the relevant French neurologists who made of the Salpetriere Hospital, in Paris, a world paradigm of the neurosciences at the end of the XIX century and the begginings of the XX. He made important discovering in that field, being his work among the most prestigious of those times. Even today his constributions are still necesary tools for the integral assesment of the patient with neurologic ailments. With this investigation we pretended to draw attention to the live and work of this illustrious scientific.
