The development of these products has to carry out in parallel an evaluative system that allows knowing with certainty the impact that such biotechnical products have on human health, animal and the environment. It was carried out the study of the mutagenic effect in mice and rats by means of chromosomal aberration, micronucleus and sperm assays, administered by oral via, using as positive controls the acrylamide (20 mg/kg b.w), cyclophosphamide (40 mg/kg p.c) and as negative control sterile water. At the end of the treatment, the animals were sacrificed and processed to obtain the preparations according to the procedure. The results proved the non-evidence of neither clastogenic effects in mouse¡äs bone marrow, neither mutagenic effect on the chromosomes of rat¡äs bone marrow. There were not either genotoxic effects or cytotoxic ones on the spermatic cells of the mouse. These results extend the knowledge on the innocuousness of these products in their relationship to the human being. %K Cyclophosphamide %K Acrylamide %K sperm morphology %K cytogenetic analysis %K Micronucleus mouse %K genotoxicity %U http://www.sertox.com.ar/img/item_full/37004.pdf
