%X Contralateral pneumothorax after pneumonectomy is a rare critical condition with high morbidity and mortality rates. In this study, a case of contralateral pneumothorax in the post-operative period which occured soon after left pneumonectomy for non-small cell lung carcinoma is presented with the related literature.
