StaticVAR Compensator (SVC) is a shunt type FACTSdevice which is used in power system primarily forthe purpose of voltage and reactive power control.In this paper we survey and analyzes fuzzycontroller, how it is utilize in terms of reactivepower compensation. We also discuss about theapplicability and feasibility.
