Besidesdetailed anatomy of the communications between median and ulnar nerves was designed to help hand surgeonsunderstand both anatomic variations and paradoxic complaints of sensory and motor loss of patients. Reports inthe literature describe the four communicating branches between median and ulnar nerves in the upper limb.We would like to summarize previous studies in order to be understood properly and make general commentson this complex relationship between structure and innervation. %K neuroanatomy %K median nerve %K ulnar nerve %K Martin-Gruber anastomosis %K Marinacci communication %U http://www.neuroanatomy.org/2009/015_019.pdf
