While researching the genus Onobrychis inMacedonia, a new species of this genus, Onobrychis viciifolia Scop., was discoveredwhich represents a new record for Macedonian flora. Total species of OnobrychisMiller in Macedonia reaches 11 with the addition of O. viciifolia Scop.
