%X Se conoce como fascitis plantar a la inflamaci¨®n del tejido denso que ocupa la parte anterior del tub¨¦rculo interno del calc¨¢neo. Esta, a su vez, constituye la causa m¨¢s frecuente de dolor en la planta de los pies y una vez instalada dificulta en gran medida el desempe o laboral del individuo. Por tal motivo, se necesitan medidas terap¨¦uticas puntuales dirigidas al alivio de los s¨ªntomas. Este trabajo consiste en la aplicaci¨®n de una variante de inmovilizaci¨®n relativa con un strapping confeccionado con vendaje adhesivo el cual act¨²a como coadyuvante del tratamiento ortop¨¦dico de esta entidad. Se trataron 28 pacientes (21mujeres y 6 hombres) de los cuales 88.8% resolvi¨® la sintomatolog¨ªa con inmovilizaci¨®n hasta 3 semanas y solo 12.2% no experiment¨® mejor¨ªa con el m¨¦todo aplicado. Se comparan los resultados en nuestra serie con los de otros autores. The inflammation of the dense tissue located in the anterior side of the internal tuberose of the talar bone is known as plantar fasciitis. This is the most common cause of heel pain besides, when it¡¯s installed; the patient¡¯s work capacity could be diminished during an in definitive period of time. For that reason some therapeutic procedures should be carried out in order to relieve the syntomathology. This work is about the application of a variant of relative immobilization with and strapping, performed with an adhesive plaster which acts as an assisting of non operative treatment. 28 patients were treated (21 female and 6 male) and 88.8 % of them had a relief of the pain with the immobilization for about 3 weeks and only 12.2 % haven¡¯t got better with this method. We compared ours result with other author¡¯s too results in showing its similar behaviour.
