%X This work was the result of a systematic analysis of the literary theme of the nurses' Therapeutic Play. The objective was to raise the knowledge produced and published by nurses related to this issue in the period 2005 to 2010. Among the six articles selected for inclusion criteria 100% of them cite the benefits of therapeutic play associated with nursing care. We found that the use of therapeutic play was a significant improvement in the quality of nursing care and acceptance of procedures by the child.
