%X This study examines the presence of Catalan during the last years at the Polytechnical University of Val¨¨ncia. To begin with it examines the situation of the so-called ¡°study groups in Valencian¡± and their correspondence with the students¡¯ demand for these groups. Next, it exposes the philosophy and actual state of the Catalan technical subjects within the various engineering studies. Finally the results of the last years¡¯ enquiries are presented, in which students of technical computer-engineering were questioned on their origin, their linguistic habits and uses, on their motivation to chose courses in technical Catalan, etc.
