%X Francis Dannemark¡¯s writing belongs to the new Belgian francophone writers¡¯ generation referred to as minimalism and postmodernity. We will try to analyze Dannemark¡¯s specific implications in and contributions to the French minimalist novel (Jean-Philippe Toussaint, Jean Echenoz ¡­). Our critical survey will take into account the particular treatment of fiction, characters and style in Dannemark¡¯s fictional work.
