%X Este trabajo analiza, a partir de datos etnogr芍ficos, la reinvenci車n del nexo de la migraci車n y el desarrollo como una pol赤tica europea, impulsada desde el Sur de Europa. En este sentido, Espa a ha desempe ado un papel protagonista, coincidiendo con dos elementos claves: su configuraci車n como pa赤s de inmigraci車n, y la creciente llegada de flujos migratorios. Para entender la reinvenci車n pol赤tica del nexo de la migraci車n y el desarrollo, es necesario contextualizar su surgimiento en la evoluci車n del sistema migratorio europeo, as赤 como en la latinoamericanizaci車n de los flujos que han llegado a Espa a. Finalmente, se presta atenci車n a uno de los casos m芍s importantes para poder entender la configuraci車n de la migraci車n y el desarrollo como un 芍rea pol赤tica de intervenci車n: el caso las remesas entre Ecuador y Espa a. This paper analyzes from the basis of ethnographic data, the reinvention of the nexus of migration and development as an european policy, driven from southern Europe. In this sense, Spain has played a leading role, in conjunction with two key elements: its setting as a country of immigration, and the growing arrival of migratory flows. In order to understand the political reinvention of the nexus of migration and development, it is necessary to contextualize its emergence in the evolution of the european migration system and the latin americanization of the flows that have come to Spain. Finally, attention is paid to one of the most important cases in order to understand the configuration of migration and development as an area for political intervention: the case of remittances between Ecuador and Spain.
