The empiric author, exiled himself too, imagines the last eight years of Ovid¡¯s life that represented a time of waiting, remaking his faith, renouncing of the gods in favor of God, and even more, a time of finding himself. With his novel, Horia Vintil was both included in and excluded from the French society, continuing thus the condition of the exiled writer. %K francophone literature %K Romanian writer %K communism %K exile %K identity %U http://ler.letras.up.pt/uploads/ficheiros/10352.pdf
