%X Pese a que el movimiento cooperativo el谷ctrico de C車rdoba es uno de los m芍s importantes del pa赤s y en la actualidad mueve gran parte de la econom赤a del interior provincial, su surgimiento y desarrollo es una cuesti車n que a迆n no ha sido suficientemente tratada por la historiograf赤a local. De all赤 la decisi車n de abordar tal tem芍tica que en este art赤culo se analiza desde la perspectiva de las relaciones entre el desarrollo del cooperativismo el谷ctrico y la expansi車n de la intervenci車n del Estado en el sector el谷ctrico, pero prestando especial atenci車n a los avances de la electrificaci車n en el sector rural. Ese an芍lisis abarca un amplio periodo de medio siglo, entre la aparici車n de las primeras cooperativas el谷ctricas y el momento en que, desde el punto de vista el谷ctrico, la provincia mediterr芍nea deja de constituir un sistema independiente y se incorpora al sistema interconectado nacional, y muestra el papel jugado por esas entidades en el proceso de electrificaci車n del campo que es un cap赤tulo importante en el desarrollo el谷ctrico argentino y en el que las cooperativas el谷ctricas fueron precursoras, mucho antes de que el tema preocupase a los poderes p迆blicos y cuando la pol赤tica de las empresas privadas, atenidas a la rentabilidad, no planific車 ni un metro de l赤nea rural. Las cooperativas, en cambio, demostraron ser capaces de hacer electrificaci車n rural con eficiencia. Although the electric cooperative movement of Cordoba is one of the most important of the country and nowadays it moves great part of the economy of the interior provincial economy, its appearance and development is a matter that has not been sufficiently considered yet the local historiography. That is the reason of the decision to approach this issue which is analyzed in this chapter from the perspective of the relationships between the development of the electric cooperativism and the expansion of the state intervention in the electric sector, but paying special attention to the advances of the electrification in the rural sector. The analysis contains a wide period of half a century, between the appearance of the first electric cooperatives and the moment in which, from the electric point of view, the Mediterranean province stops being an independent system and incorporates to the national interconnected system and shows the role played by those entities in the process of electrification of the countryside which is an important chapter in the Argentinian electric development and in which the electric cooperatives were forerunner, long before the issue worried the public powers and wh
