%X Depuis le d¨¦but des ann¨¦es 1990, le Mexique se trouve dans un contexte d¡¯ouverture pluriel conditionn¨¦ ¨¤ une plus large ¨¦chelle par le ph¨¦nom¨¨ne de la mondialisation. De ce fait, le pays est particuli¨¨rement sensible aux normes externes diffus¨¦es par le monde occidental, notamment les orientations ¨¦conomiques. ¨¤ partir d¡¯enqu¨ºtes de terrain men¨¦es aupr¨¨s d¡¯acteurs d¡¯organisations de producteurs de canne ¨¤ sucre, nous nous interrogeons sur les modalit¨¦s de diffusion des dispositifs de gestion issus des pays industrialis¨¦s au sein des organismes sucriers mexicains, dans un pays et un secteur o¨´ d¡¯autres dispositifs d¡¯encadrement leur ont pr¨¦exist¨¦. Ainsi, on assiste ¨¤ l¡¯¨¦mergence d¡¯un discours mettant en avant la figure de l¡¯agriculteur-entrepreneur performant, relay¨¦ par des acteurs qui acqui¨¨rent une forte reconnaissance dans la nouvelle configuration sucri¨¨re : les   experts scientifiques  . Dans le m¨ºme temps, les cadres de pens¨¦e et d¡¯action h¨¦rit¨¦s montrent que ces dispositifs   rationnels   sont encastr¨¦s dans le social. L¡¯article analyse comment cette double dynamique d¨¦bouche sur des pratiques originales qui peuvent ¨ºtre qualifi¨¦es de syncr¨¦tiques. Since the 1990¡¯s, Mexico has found itself in a multi-faceted context of overture, caused to a great extent by the phenomenon of globalization. For this reason, the country is particularly sensitive to external norms spread by the western world, and notably to its economic orientations. Based on field surveys carried out among actors in sugar cane producing organizations, we look into the modalities of the spreading of management arrangements issuing from industrialized countries within Mexican sugar organizations, in a country and a sector wherein other organizational arrangements preexisted them. Thus we witness the emergence of a discourse accentuating the figure of the performant agricultural entrepreneur, backed up by actors who have acquired a high recognition level in the new sugar industry configuration : ¡°scientific experts¡±. At the same time, inherited thought and action patterns show that these ¡°rational¡± arrangements are well anchored in the social. This article analyses how this double dynamic leads to original practices which might sometimes be described as syncretic.
