The significant perturbation of proteic biogenesis, the modification of the protein dynamics, the inhibition of the cell cultures development and the existence of a doseresponse relationship argue the behaviour of the low intensity and frequency electromagnetic field as in vitro active cytostatic agent. This primary characterization of some glucanic extracts as cytostatic agent justifies the study of their effect upon cell proliferation and viability in order to enlarge the reasoning basis for the introduction of those exopolysaccharidic agents in the in vivo antitumoral screening program on different experimental tumoral systems. %U http://www.gbm.bio.uaic.ro/index.php/gbm/article/view/566
