%X Technologies are changing the concept of literacy and of the basic skills necessary to be considered literate in a digital and networked culture. New critical, technological and social skills redefine the need to be literate and, as such, for information literacy. This requires a new term, such as Digital Literacy, in order to include the new skills and to focus more on the training of individuals rather than on the professional groups involved in the training. Several examples are presented, both within our country and beyond, of initiatives undertaken by libraries in digital literacy and in the generation of local digital content. Las tecnolog赤as est芍n cambiando el concepto de alfabetizaci車n y las competencias b芍sicas necesarias para considerarse alfabetizado en una cultura digital y en red. Nuevas competencias medi芍ticas, cr赤ticas, tecnol車gicas, sociales, vienen a redefinir la propia necesidad de estar alfabetizado y por ende, en informaci車n, hasta el punto de exigir un t谷rmino como Alfabetizaci車n digital, que aglutine las nuevas competencias, y centre m芍s su objetivo en la formaci車n que necesitan los individuos y menos en los colectivos profesionales implicados en esa formaci車n. Se presentan diversos ejemplos, dentro y fuera de nuestro pa赤s, de iniciativas llevadas a cabo preferentemente por bibliotecas, en los campos de la alfabetizaci車n digital y la generaci車n de contenidos digitales locales.
